Reed man Eric Erhardt is a busy performer on the Denver music scene, playing lead tenor sax in the Colorado Jazz Repertory Orchestra and working regularly in many local bands and venues.
In addition to gigging as a sideman, Eric leads his own group – The BetterFate Ensemble – and teaches private lessons on saxophone, clarinet and flute.
Eric has performed with such diverse acts as The Temptations, The Drifters, The Sylistics, The Artie Shaw Orchestra, The Nelson Riddle Orchestra, The Boulder Symphony, The Denver Pops, and six international tours of various Broadway shows.
In the jazz world he has shared the stage with Jamey Aebersold, Pete Christlieb, Peter Erskine, Jeff Hamilton, David Liebman, Ken Peplowski, Antonio Sanchez, Gunther Schuller, Diane Shuur, Byron Stripling, and Bill Watrous.
